I loved the Anne leaf and berry motif so much that I wanted to develop it into a fun cottage stripe. I ended up painting a new floral motif as well as a berry background motif that were repeated in contrasting stripes. I think it gives this pattern a lot of depth an interest. I have been told that this design has a fun retro vibe. I think it also has a little english cottage vibe. I named this after my daughters’ cousin who took her own life in 2024. A tribute to an angel and reminder how important mental health care is in this country.
