The pattern Brier was a labor of love. Part of the first collection, the design was reworked and recolored numerous times until we were satisfied. A thicket of berries covers the fabric creating a wonderful all over design. The medium scale is perfect for an occasional chair, draperies or a play against a larger scale print.

After moving from Los Angeles to Kentucky, I noticed that Ferrick Mason had little to offer the tradition-steeped state of Kentucky. I wanted to offer a design from Ferrick Mason that could fit in with the warm, classic interiors of the Bluegrass. Named after the county which is famous for bourbon and horses, in which I also live, Woodford is an ode to fall and spring in Kentucky, with a dash of Matisse.

VICTORIAN MOD

Inspired by Hydrangea blossoms, Victorian Mod has a very springy feel and started out as a wild abstract painting. Then someone mentioned to me that I should make fabrics like my abstract paintings. It is never easy to put something abstract into repeat but this design just happened to have the right curse of the stem to be a perfect sinuous half drop. Once I saw it in repeat I fell in love and thought of the Victorian wallpapers with the same undulating curve. The large scale of the repeat lets you see all of the abstract details of the dots and brush strokes of the original painting. It is definitely my most complex design yet. - Alex

Alex is the coordinate I created to go with Shelby and Fiddle Leaf Fig. It is a combination of a strié and a faux bois. This is another go anywhere, do anything fabric. It was hard to limit the colorways with this one. Because of the ambiguousness of the design I named it after myself. Alex could work within a feminine, masculine or neutral scheme. The design itself could be a strié or a faux bois – and I love a faux bois. Bring on the Alex!
