Calliandra is where it all began. During Alex’s time living in New Zealand she became acquainted, and soon fell in love, with the indigenous plant life. Calliandra was born of that love for the exotic florals, while still relating to the bursts of Bizzy Bloom and other patterns.
The gentle arc of the stems move the pattern up and across the fabric while the burst of the blossoms create an exciting splash. Depending on the color, the pattern can be subtle and feminine or robust and vibrant. Calliandra is perfect for almost any room in the house.

Shelby is our version of Chinoiserie birds and foliage. This design comes directly from a painting I did inspired by J. Audubon. The background of the original painting was too difficult to put into repeat so I created a strié/faux bois background that was featured in the three designs of this collection, Alex, Fiddle Leaf Fig, and Shelby. I really think it is the texture of the strié that makes this bird and foliage design come together. Even though the scale of the repeat is quite large it has a very soft, delicate feel. -Alex
